New Stories Added to my Web Site

I’ve uploaded a few stories and essays I’ve written to the Web site, for your reading enjoyment. You can click on the Free Stories link at the top of the page to access a list of them, or use the submenu to jump to individual stories.

Here’s what I’ve posted so far:

• Hunter’s Pond, short fiction from Slices of Life: An Anthology of the Lompoc Writers Association. A family falls apart in the wake of a tragic loss.
• Far From Sleep, a rather darker and grittier short story. A cop’s wife is the victim of a devastating act of revenge. Not for the faint of heart, this one.
• Requiem, another short piece from Slices of Life. This was written in response to a writing prompt about the word “reverence”, and I liked the way it came out.
• Dancing With 26C, a nonfiction essay from Slices of Life. A short ride in a small plane gives rise to some big lessons about the value of life and the importance of living it fully.

In the coming weeks, I look forward to adding more of my short fiction, including some previously unpublished stuff, to this list. So please check back, and let me know what you think.
